Neil & Allison

I first met Neil and Allison at a wedding I photographed last summer at which Neil officiated. I remember pausing to listen--perched in the the aisle, dirt clods falling off my knees. Neil gave an extraordinary speech and it moved me. So, needless to say, I was beyond excited to hear that they were interested in hiring me for their wedding. 

Neil and Allison have a strong bond centered around spirituality and community. One of my favorite things about photographing weddings is getting to understand, briefly, how and why these two people click. Their love for each other was palpable and it was an honor to meet and photograph such a wonderful day.

Garber family session

From the moment I walked into Claire and Sam's home their son Enzo was practically bouncing off the walls. I don't think I've ever laughed so much while doing a family session. Their newest addition, Theo, was ever-curious and we managed to get a couple of smiles out of him. This family is full of love and I hope to have captured some of their spirit in the hour I was with them. Enjoy!

I've been photographing Yasmin since we were in high school together. Not only do we get to catch up together, but I get to watch how this beautiful woman has grown and changed over the year. We were in the process of taking some lifestyle shots for her agent when some moody music came on and we found ourselves hitting a different vibe. Here are some of my favorites.

I 2nd shot a lovely wedding with my frequent co-conspirator Crystal Liepa (check her out you guys!) The wedding was in a lovely Summit Avenue mansion in St. Paul during the best weekend for fall colors. The wedding was beautiful and the couple exceptionally elegant. It was such a treat to work alongside my friend Crystal and capture some nice moments. Here are a couple of my favorites.
