a season: 2021

During a whirlwind of a year where everything felt heightened, I found myself attending weddings that captured the frenetic and fast-paced emotional swells of a post-2019 summer. An upside-down year means an upside-down approach. Instead of posting images of wedding recaps and couples sessions, I am just going to highlight some images that I feel are representative of how the last 6 months have gone— from a complete shutdown of work, to a city turned global uprising, to separation and fear, to political nausea, to a reworking of priorities, to helping neighbors, to taking on the task dismantling, to looking deep. I expect that the cold season is going to bring a lot of us closer to our own personal art— whatever that is. Below is a mix of stuff that I made.
